2026-2027 U16/U19 Team Assistant Coach
FVSEF is seeking an Alpine Coach to assist the U16/U19 Lead Coach for the 2026/2027 season. The team has expanded over the few years since we began offering a part-time option along with our full-time competition team. As a result, it includes athletes with a wide range of ski racing experience and skills. The training needs of our more experienced U16/U19 racers are quite different from those of the less experienced. The lead U16/U19 coach needs additional staff to manage the needs of these different groups.
Applicants must
- be certified coaches in good standing with US Ski & Snowboard.
- be willing and able to successfully work in a team environment that includes on and off hill work with athletes U14, U16, U19 FIS and other FVSEF coaches.
- have experience with alpine ski racing and training and the ability to organize, direct, and lead a group of athletes.
- be willing and able to travel to divisional and regional USSS and FIS races.
- assist in planning/organizing and lead preseason training camps.
- assist or lead preseason dryland training sessions.
- assist with managing B-net on training and race hill.
- have a desire to learn, be driven to success, and have a willingness to accept feedback.
- be relatable to teens in these age groups; and
- have strong communication skills.

2026-2027 U14 Team Assistant Coach
FVSEF is seeking an Alpine Coach to assist the U14 Lead Coach for the 2026/2027 season. The team includes athletes with a wide range of ski racing experience and skills and the lead U14 coach needs additional staff to manage the needs of these different groups.
Additionally, the experienced U14 athletes frequently train with the U16 team since their qualifying races are usually combined. The U14 coach will work at the direction of the Lead U14 coach and in coordination with the U16 and U19 coaches. This is a part-time, seasonal position.

2026-2027 Development Team (U10/U12) Assistant Coaches
We are also looking for U10/U12 coaches to assist the Development Team Lead Coach. This is a part-time, seasonal position December through March. Available coaching days are Saturday or Sunday 8:30am- 3pm with an hour break for lunch.
Applicants must
- be members or able to become members in good standing with US Ski & Snowboard.
- be willing and able to successfully work in a team environment that includes on-snow work with young skiers age 8-12.
- have experience with alpine ski racing and training and the ability to organize and manage a group of young skiers in a dynamic and variable outdoor environment.
- be able to model good skiing and demonstrate drills well
- have a desire to learn and have a willingness to accept feedback; and
- have strong communication skills.

2026-2027 All Mountain Ranger (Entry Level) Coaches
We are always looking for more coaches to assist the All Mountain Rangers - Learn to Race Lead Coach . This is a part-time, seasonal position December through March. Available coaching days are Friday, Saturday, or Sunday 9am-3pm with an hour break for lunch.
Applicants must
- be members or able to become members in good standing with US Ski & Snowboard.
- be willing and able to successfully work in a team environment that includes on-snow work with young skiers age 6-12.
- have experience with alpine ski racing and training and the ability to organize and manage a group of young skiers in a dynamic and variable outdoor environment.
- be able to model good skiing and demonstrate drills well
- have a desire to learn and have a willingness to accept feedback; and
- have strong communication skills.
