The Masters’ Program is a 10 week training program for Adult racers. It is designed for those who want to have fun running gates and improving their skiing without a big commitment. Video and timed training sessions are a part of the program. This is a terrific way to prepare for USSA Masters or Wednesday Night Race league. The program meets Sunday mornings beginning on January 8, 2017 for technical free skiing and afternoons for gate training. For those interested only in the Sunday afternoon portion the price is $450 for the season.
FVSEF is proud to welcome our new Flathead Valley Resident and FVSEF coach Hilary Lindh as the Masters Coach on Sundays.
Hilary was named to the US Ski Team when she was only 14. When she was 16, she won the US downhill title and a week later, added the World Junior downhill title. Primarily a power skier, and a premier glider who specialized in downhill, Lindh won a gold in downhill at the 1997 World Championships, after placing third at the 1996 Worlds, in addition to her Olympic downhill silver medal. During her 11 years on the World Cup circuit, Lindh had three wins, five podium placements, and 27 top ten finishes. Lindh retired after the 1997 World Cup season.
Hilary was inducted into the National Ski Hall of Fame in 2005
